Financial Expert/PMO Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Expert/PMO Manager who will join our team in Athens (full-time hybrid position). You will have the opportunity to be a part of a top-rated team of talented individuals with different expertise working collaboratively on common goals. You will be expected to show initiative, be flexible and take responsibility. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to 

  • Collaborating with the Managing Director to develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cashflow for the organisation.
  • Using and managing the appropriate tools for controlling the proper financial progress of the EC-funded Research and Innovation projects.
  • Compiling financial reports according to project guidelines and the respective AGA and EC rules.
  • Controlling budget and timelines, providing budget outlines and financial reports to the Project Managers and executives.
  • Facilitating the proper distribution and allocation of human resources in projects’ teams.
  • Working closely with the Project Managers and the GSC’s accountant to manage financial issues.
  • Collaborating with PMOs outside the company within project’s consortium.
  • Collaborating with certified auditors in case of control.
  • Communicating with the National Contact Point for Horizon in Greece.
  • Keeping project’s digital and physical files.
  • Keeping time-records for the project team’s members.

Qualifications 

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar position
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a EC-funded projects, focusing especially in H2020 and Horizon Europe.
  • Excellent command of MS Office and especially MS Excel and/or similar software.
  • BSc in Economics/ Finance, or Management or a related field of study.
  • Fluency in English and Greek, both written and verbal.
